Build; Emelie is pretty average looking when it comes to body shape. She is short about 5'3" which does bother her quite bit because she get tired of having to stand on her tip toes to see things or feeling overly crowded in crowds. She isn't like supermodel thin but she is slim with a tiny bit pudge. She is unfortunately not gifted when it comes to the breast department she is only a 32 A. She has had to buy her bras in the girls training bra section. She weighs about 125, she carries most of her weight in her thighs and buttocks. She has skinny legs as well and wears about size 7 in shoes. She struggles some in finding pants to fit right because of her unproportionated figure. That also goes for her shirts as well, she doesn't like to go shoping for this fact.
She wears her school uniform to classes but when she outside of class like in the Moon dorm or in town she likes to comfortable clothes like jeans, t-shirts and hoodie sweat shirts. She has never been very big on wearing brand name clothes either, she likes to go to thrift stores and find thing she likes. Some of her T-shirts and hoodies are anime themed. Her favorite colors are: pink, red, purple and orange. Also likes to wear skirts and capris in the summer, hates to wear shorts. For causal shoes she likes to wear chuck taylors and in the summer she loves wearing flip flops. Of course in the winter she wears warm clothes like her cute orange jacket with matching hat that she is wearing in the picture. She always wears a rhinestone cross necklace that was given her to by an elderly couple back in the States right before they moved. They had been her next door neighbors and very sweet to her. She also wears a small ring with heart on it that has cross inside it on her right hand. The ring is something she bought for her self as a promise that someday she would find true love and it would be wonderful. They are both very precious to her and she never takes them off. When she wears her school uniform she hides the necklace under her clothes.
There is one unique thing about her, she is double jointed in her fingers and she can bend them back very far. It is something she inheritated from her father also. This effects her hand writing some what making it very hard to read. When she was younger they tried to correct it but her sloppy hand writing was something she struggled with all through out school.
Facial Features;Emeile's face is narrow and but a bit heart shaped as well. Her facial features are very delicate so she is sometimes mistaken to be younger then she actually is which can be very frustrating to her and she is constantly having to convince people of her age. She has fairly pale, light skin thanks to her German descent and sometimes it doesn't help hiding her vampiresm being so pale so she was teased about her pale skin as well.
She has large almond shaped chestnut color eyes that hide behind her small glasses and feathered bangs. She has naturally long dark eyelashes that do not require much mascara.
Her hair matches her eyes in color and its straight, shoulder length with layers and some light high lights. She usually tucks it behind her ear and on the days she is running late she puts it up in a bun with a plastic clip. She tries to keep her hair down then up but with her tendency to be late, she ends up putting it up quite often, to save her self.
She usually doesn't wear too much make up, just some foundation to tone her skin, giving her some color, and little lip gloss a tad darker then her lips to bring out her small lips. She also wears some eyeliner and some brown eyes shadow to play up her eyes.
She doesn't wear her make up everyday, like when she is in the dorm she doesn't bother with much except maybe putting on some lip gloss. She usually puts it on when she goes to class and when she is in town.
She has fairly clear skin but she does get blemishes just like any other 15 year old girl but they don't happen very often. So she doesn't worry about it too much as most girls usually do.
Emelie has to wear glasses with prisms in the lenses because her left eye likes to go cross eyed and they cannot put prisms in to contacts. She used to have contacts before her left eye started giving her problems.
Her nose is small and upturned, so it almost looks pixi like. Her ears are small and delicate looking as well. Her teeth straight along with her fangs and they are very white. She does have a slight overbite but to get it fixed the dentist would have had to break her jaw and realign it, so Emelie obviously learned to live with so it doesn't bother her.
Her lips are small and soft. Her eyebrows are light colored and shaped nicely so Emelie never has to pluck them. When she does its just pluck a few small hairs here and there.
Tattoos;On her ankle she has a small tattoo, it is the Japanese kanji for the word faith that she had done with her dad to in honor of her moving to Japan. He has one on his arm identical to hers.

Personality;Emelie is quiet and shy when she first meets people but when she gets to know them is able to open up to them about who she is.She is also a bit quirky and clumsy. She will sometimes stumble over her own feet for no real reason. She can be very uncoordinated sometimes. She is very friendly and outgoing when she is around people who she know. People find her sweet and understanding of others. Can be laid back about things but when something stresses her out she gets very frazzled. Has a tendency to get very crabby and emotional when she is tired. It is better not to try arguing with her when she is tired. Same goes when she is sick. Can become very emotional, she does cry at sad movies and moments like that.
Can also be very stubborn and have a very wicked temper when something sets her off. Has some issues with being on time for things like parties and classes. also can be very disorganized. Her room can look somewhat very cluttered because of this. When it comes to people she likes to have a few close friends then a huge group because likes the feeling of connecting with people on a personal level and its hard to do that in a really large group. When is in a large group she tends to get uncomfortable and overwelmed, not knowing what to say.
Also when it comes to friends she usually enjoys hanging out with guys then girls. She finds them much more easier to talk to and laid back. She also finds them less judgmental too.She doesn't like hanging out with girls very much because she finds them to be to catty and not loyal to each other. She also likes having guys friends because of the security she finds with them, she feels safer because she knows they can protect her from whatever they face. Unfortunately this has a effect on her dating life, she tends to be the guy's best friend instead of the guy's girl. She also tends to crush on her guy friends often which can make things somewhat awkward for her.She has a bit of a tomboyish side to her thanks to her dad and brother so they contributes with having guy friends and not being to relate well with girls. Wants a boyfriend and hates being single.
Has only one boyfriend through out her life and they dated about for only 3 months. There were two problems that broke them up he became more of a friend then a boy friend and he was too immature to put up with the dating a vampire teasing. It was a very sad relationship.
Likes; Likes doing anything art related from drawing to pottery. Also really enjoys anime, loves her bishonens. In her spare time likes to make AMVs. Also enjoys video games. Has a crush on Zero but can see his feelings for Yuki. Unlike the other vampires at does not have a hatred for Zero and understand that even though he is level E he is still a great person. Hopes to become friends with him.
Dislikes;Does not care for Kaname, thinks he is too self centered but does not voice that opinion to anyone. She follows his orders like the rest of the night class doing what he asks them to do.
Does not care for people like Aidou who are too into their looks or who are not real with others.

Family; Her dad whom she is very close to is a vampire whom vampiresem has been heredity from his German ancestors that was passed down through the years who were at one time Pure bloods.
History;Emelie, has had a rough life. She was born on April 20th out of wedlock in the United States. Her parents got married because of her birth and her dad had to work allot to support his family.When Emelie was born it became obvious that her father was a vampire since she was half and her mother hated it. So much so that when Emelie's father was working, her mother would abuse her and her brother for being half vampires. She would yell at them and lock them in the closet when her father was gone with very little food.
This went on through their childhood, whenever their father wasn't around or they weren't at school they were locked in the closet.
and her brother were to scared to tell their father what had been going on . He did not find out until he came home early from work one day and saw her mother yelling at them while they were locked in the closet. He called the cops on her and child services stepped in.
Emelie and her brother were put in foster care for a month until custody was awarded to her father. The court told my dad that they he should move away from the states to escape her mother.
So when Emelie was 14 her father divorced her mother and fled to Japan with Emelie and Emelie's younger brother Michael to get away from her. Emelie's father changed their last name to Kaome to hide their identity from their mother and keep their vampiresm a secret. Along with the physical abuse that her mother inflicted on her father and mother fought about the vampiresm. To this day Emelie gets very uncomfortable when she hears people yelling at each other. So much that it brings her to tears.
Outside of her family her life before Cross Academy was tough when it came to how people saw her. Although being half vampire she didn't fully look like a vampire, when people saw her fangs they made fun of her. Although she never told anyone she was really a vampire, they all teased her for it, saying things along the lines of her sucking their blood and stuff like that. some kids were even scared of her. As she grew older she was ostracized by the other kids for it. She would often end up playing on the play ground alone at recess. She would also end up eating alone watching the other kids have fun with their friends while she was alone.
She was often very lonely. Her brother was treated the same way. They spent their times when they weren't locked in the closest playing togther because they didn't have friends to invite over.
When they were locked in the closet, Emelie and her brother spent their time talking and trying to make each othe laugh to drown out their mother's yelling
The other problem Emelie faced with being a half vampire was blood lust. Although with being a half vampire it wasn't as strong as a full blood it was still rough and she didn't have blood tablets to take.
When she was in school sometimes she would end up suffering the whole day with her blood lust before she could get home for a drink of the blood that her father bought special from the local hospital but on the days when her mom would lock them in the closet, her brother and her had to find alternative ways. So many times when her brother and her ended up drinking each other's blood to satisfy each other's blood lust which was another thing her father wasn't too happy about since drinking blood is from other vampires is frowned on. There were times Emelie would sneak a water bottle full of blood for them to drink when they were locked in but it was very rare cause her mom would catch her doing it and take it away.
Sometimes with her lunch she would bring a thermos of blood to drink at lunch but it was rare since her mother made her lunch and she had to be careful the other kids didn't see what it was.
When they moved to Japan, her father heard about the Cross Academy's Night Class and decided it would the safest place for Emelie. In two years he will be sending her brother there also.

Emelie was walking casually from the Moon dorm to her classroom. She knew she was already late so she figured why rush. The night was cold but the snow that had fallen was reflecting off the moon's glow giving it a beautiful glittery effect and Emelie was soaking it all in. To add to the night's beauty, she saw him. Zero. The moonlight shimmered on his silver hair and it made his eye shine. He was standing against the academy's gate looking impatient.
He must be waiting for Yuki. She is so lucky to get to be by his side like that. What I would give to be her. Emelie studied him a bit more. In his she could see sadness and heart ache. Poor Zero. I can't imagine what you are suffering through, as a level E. I just hope one day I may become your friend so you will know that not all the vampires at this school hate you and some of us do care about you. Suddenly it dawned on her that Zero may catch her staring at him so she quickly hurried on her way to her class in the snow. Someday I will be your friend, Zero. Someday. she promised him in her mind and a smile spread across her face.
